Forrest School Practitioner

Overview:

Chalk Education are seeking qualified, skilled and passionate Forest School Practitioners to join them and their schools in offering this amazing resource to their students. Working ages from Nursery through to Secondary age, it is ESSENTIAL that candidates hold at least a Level 3 recognised qualification in Forest School Practice AND the Outdoor First Aid Qualifications

Duties to include:

• Leading, planning and delivering Forest School activities
• Adapting and amending activities to meet the learning and SEMH needs of all students
• Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met and that appropriate Risk Assessments are conducted in a timely manner

Candidates MUST possess:

• Level 3 Forest School Qualification and Outdoor First Aid Qualification
• Experience of and an interest in SEND
• Experience of assessment practice in Schools and in raising attainment
• Experience of managing and supporting challenging behaviours
