Job Description

As a teaching assistant, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment is at the heart of the role, fostering a sense of belonging for all students. You'll have the opportunity to assist classroom teachers in both planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities, ensuring that every student can shine. A big aspect of the role will be to provide personalized support through one-to-one sessions or small group interventions, igniting every student’s academic journey with enthusiasm. Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people. A clean DBS and prior experience working with children are essential for this role, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Previous relevant experience could include childcare, tutoring, nursery assistance, sports settings, or similar classroom environments. If needed, we can assist you with obtaining a DBS.
