Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting both students and teachers. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, providing one-to-one support, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. You'll help plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities, ensure every student receives the attention they need, and safeguard the welfare of children and young people. This dynamic and fulfilling role requires flexibility and dedication as every day brings new opportunities and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
• Provide one-to-one support and small group interventions.
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Safeguard and protect the welfare of children.
• Support engaging classroom activities.

Requirements:

• A patient, compassionate, and adaptable personality, with a genuine enthusiasm for working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
• A clean DBS (we can assist you with obtaining one if needed).
• Prior experience working with children (childcare, tutoring, nursery assistance, sports settings, or similar classroom environments).
