A SEND school based in Ealing, UB6 are looking for a SEND teacher to join their dedicated and experienced team in September 2024.

Job Description

The school is a mixed school catering for pupils aged between 2 – 11 years old with complex needs. Most pupils also have Autism, SLD  and have additional physical and sensory disabilities.

The ideal teacher will be a dedicated and creative teacher with demonstrable SEND knowledge. Primary school teachers with a passion for SEND are welcome to apply. You should have an innovative and flexible approach to teaching. Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

The school is purpose-built with excellent facilities and modern resources and was rated ‘good’ on its last OFSTED report. It is easily accessible via public transport and also has private parking amenities.

This role will start in September 2024 and will be a full-time role that continues for the rest of the academic year. There is potential for this role to become permanent.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Must have QTS
  • Demonstrable knowledge of and a passion for SEND
  • Makaton and PECS -not essential but highly desirable
  • Experience working with Complex Needs and ASD

  • References confirming suitability for the role
  • Commitment to Safeguarding
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
