A leading specialist school in Camberley, committed to catering to children with a diverse array of complex needs such as physical disabilities, Autism, Speech and Language disorders, as well as moderate to severe learning disabilities and associated behavioural challenges, is currently seeking a proactive Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this position, you will work closely with the class team to support student development towards academic milestones and EHCP objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to ensure students receive high-quality teaching, learning, and communication support.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Implement therapy-led programs (if trained) to support students in achieving EHCP goals.
  • Manage and support students in regulating and reducing challenging behaviours, adhering to school policies and individual behaviour plans.
  • Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
