We are currently looking for Residential Support workers to support our SEND schools across the Bolton area.

Role Overview

As a Residential Support Worker, you'll work across school and community settings, helping young people aged 5–19 with a range of additional needs. This is a hands-on, nurturing role with a strong focus on:

• Supporting routines across mornings, evenings, and weekends

• Assisting personal care with compassion and respect

• Encouraging life skills, social interaction, and new experiences (e.g., yoga, music, outdoor activities)

• Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and the Chalk team

What We’re Looking For

• A positive, caring person with experience or genuine interest in supporting young people with SEND (Autism, SEMH, learning difficulties…)

• Flexibility to cover early mornings, late shifts, and weekends

• Excellent behaviour-management skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude 

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

• UK work eligibility & references

Desirable but not essential: background in care, youth work, social care, or as a teaching assistant
