We are currently looking for Residential Support workers to support our SEND schools across the Bolton area.
Role Overview
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll work across school and community settings, helping young people aged 5–19 with a range of additional needs. This is a hands-on, nurturing role with a strong focus on:

Supporting routines across mornings, evenings, and weekends

Assisting personal care with compassion and respect

Encouraging life skills, social interaction, and new experiences (e.g., yoga, music, outdoor activities)

Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and the Chalk team
What We’re Looking For

A positive, caring person with experience or genuine interest in supporting young people with SEND (Autism, SEMH, learning difficulties…)

Flexibility to cover early mornings, late shifts, and weekends

Excellent behaviour-management skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

UK work eligibility & references
Desirable but not essential: background in care, youth work, social care, or as a teaching assistant
