Description

Chalk Education is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Wigan on a long-term temporary basis. This role offers competitive daily pay rates starting from £150 per day, with scope based on experience.

The Role:

  • Teaching and supporting KS1 pupils with complex special educational needs
  • Planning and delivering engaging, personalised lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals
  • Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment that supports progress and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching pupils with special educational needs
  • Experience supporting children with complex needs
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
  • A caring, patient, and resilient approach to teaching
