SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Rainhill | Full Time | 1st Sept start

Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism? Do you have experience working with children or adults with SEND?

Chalk Education is looking for a dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Rainhill. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by providing individual support to a pupil with Autism, helping them to access learning and thrive in the classroom.

The Role

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday
• 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Immediate start available
• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism
• Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to implement personalised learning and behaviour strategies
• Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
• Commitment to safeguarding

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience supporting children or adults with Autism
• Experience working within SEND settings is essential
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to commit to a full-time, Monday to Friday role
