Chalk Education is seeking a confident and committed Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in St Helens. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils through a crucial stage of their education.

The Role:

• Full-time position, starting September
• 1-year fixed term contract initially
• Teaching a Year 6 class, preparing pupils for transition to secondary school
• Commitment to safeguarding
• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential in line with SATs expectations

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have strong experience within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Be confident in preparing pupils for SATs assessments
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Be proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
