Pay Rate- £130– £160 per day
Are you a dedicated, passionate teacher with a love for guiding Year 6 pupils through their final year of primary school?
Chalk Education is thrilled to partner with a thriving mainstream primary school in St. Helens renowned for its exceptional support to all pupils. The school is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a temporary contract starting in January 2025 for two terms. The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have experience in a KS2 classroom, and possess a clean enhanced DBS. Previous experience teaching Year 6 is highly desirable, as the role involves guiding pupils through an important and rewarding stage of their primary education.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join an inspiring and supportive team. The role includes half a day’s PPA time each week, ensuring ample time for planning and delivering engaging lessons. The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching in a KS2 classroom (preferably Year 6).

- Have excellent classroom management skills.
- Be a team player with a proactive and positive approach to teaching.
