About the Role
Chalk Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Buckley on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a positive educational environment.
Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
- Provide additional support to pupils who may require extra assistance
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources
- Monitor and record pupil progress where required
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is desirable
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
Additional requirements:

o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
