Job Description:
This Secondary school are seeking experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistants or support workers who can thrive in the following roles roles:
- Personalised Support: Become a crucial 1:1 support for a Year 8 student with Autism, transitioning into mainstream classes. Your role extends beyond academics to include vital support during breaks and lunchtimes.
- Empowerment through Education: Guide and support pupils with Autism, ADHD, and Challenging Behaviour across Years 7-11. Your impact will shape positive attitudes towards learning, fostering a supportive environment where every student can thrive. Some students may require assistance with SEMH.
These roles are full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Together with the school’s committed staff, you will play a key role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Requirements:
- Experience working with Secondary aged pupils (11-16 years old).
- Exceptional behaviour management skills to create a positive learning environment.
- Dedication and passion for education, with a commitment to making a difference.
