Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Autism? A well-known ‘Good’ primary school in Haringey, N17, is looking for dedicated teaching assistants with a proven track record of supporting pupils with Autism to join them on a full-time basis immediately.

In this rewarding role, you will provide essential 1:1 and small group support within the Autism Unit. Your collaboration with class teachers and therapists will be crucial in implementing personalized learning programs that cater to each child's unique needs.
As a Primary Special Needs Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported. You will play a key role in developing pupils' social, communication, and behavioural skills. Alongside the dedicated staff, you will also be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
