An outstanding and well-resourced Special Needs School based in Haringey, N17, is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time, long-term placement starting ASAP.

Job Description: We are looking for a nurturing and energetic SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 2-11 years with ASD, SLD, and Complex Needs. Previous experience working with SEND is required. The ideal candidate will be open to providing personal care and passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support and assistance to pupils with special needs
• Assist with educational activities and lessons tailored to each child's needs
• Implement effective behavior management strategies
• Support pupils in developing social skills and communication abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to create individualized plans
• Monitor and document progress and behavior changes
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all pupils

Requirements:
