A welcoming and inclusive primary school in North Finchley, N12, is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. This full-time, long-term role is available immediately and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a pupil's life.
About the Role
You will be supporting a Year 3 pupil with Autism on a 1:1 basis, helping them thrive both academically and personally. As part of this role, you will:
- Collaborate with the class teacher to implement tailored strategies to meet the student’s needs.
- Provide consistent support to help the pupil make measurable progress.
- Track and maintain accurate records of their development and achievements.
- Be a key part of the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who is passionate, patient, and proactive. To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Specific experience supporting children with Autism.
- Strong behaviour management skills to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
