Chalk Education is currently recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil in a mainstream primary school in Lowton.

This is a long-term temporary role working mornings, providing dedicated support to help a pupil access learning and feel confident within the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 support to a Year 1 pupil during the school morning
• Supporting the child with learning activities and classroom engagement
• Assisting with medical and toileting needs where required
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow support plans
• Helping maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

Requirements

• Experience working with primary-aged children (preferred)
• Comfortable supporting with medical and toileting needs
• A caring, patient, and reliable approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
