Chalk Education is recruiting an SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN setting in Warrington.

This is a long‑term temporary, full-time, term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm. For the right person, there is potential for the role to become permanent.

You will be supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, providing calm, consistent support and helping them engage positively in both classroom-based learning and practical, activity-led sessions. The school is looking for someone who can build strong, trusting relationships and who remains patient, adaptable, and resilient in challenging situations.

We are seeking a candidate with relevant UK experience—ideally within an SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision environment. Experience supporting challenging behaviours or working in practical, hands-on settings would be highly advantageous.

Daily pay rates from £95.
