Chalk Education is currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a small SEN class within a welcoming mainstream Primary School close to Queens Drive, Liverpool.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role

• Supporting a small SEN class within a mainstream primary school setting
• Assisting pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
• Encouraging pupil engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
• Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Commitment to safeguarding

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
• Previous classroom-based experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working Hours

• Full Time
• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Start date: September 2nd
