We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming SEN school in the Wigan area. This is a full-time, long-term temporary role.

The role includes:

• Supporting pupils’ learning and emotional development
• Delivering lessons and targeted support to individuals and small groups
• Working closely with teachers to support planning and assessment
• Promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding

The ideal candidate will have:

• HLTA status or relevant experience
• Experience in a UK primary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
