Are you an experienced English teacher with a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Do you have a strong classroom presence and the resilience to work with challenging behaviours? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are currently seeking a committed and dynamic English Teacher to join a specialist SEMH provision in Stoke-on-Trent, starting in September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need guidance, support, and inspiration to succeed in their education.
About the Role:
- Position: English Teacher (SEMH)
- Location: Stoke-on-Trent
- Start Date: September 2025
- Salary: £120 – £180 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Requirements:
- Recognised teaching qualification: QTS, PTLLS, or QTLLS
- Proven experience working with children and young people who present challenging behaviours
- Strong classroom management and a nurturing, patient approach
- Ability to create engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire learners
- Passion for helping students overcome barriers to education and achieve their full potential
