Complex Needs Support Worker – Dingle, Liverpool L8

September 2026 start date

Full time 8.30am-3.30pm

Chalk Education Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist provision based just outside Liverpool City Centre that is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every child can thrive. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Complex Needs Support Workers to join an experienced team supporting children and young people with additional and complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised care and support in line with individual care plans.
  • Support pupils with daily routines, personal care, mobility, communication, and behavioural needs where required.
  • Assist with educational, therapeutic, and recreational activities tailored to individual abilities and interests.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment that encourages independence and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external professionals to support the best outcomes for each child.
  • Monitor progress and report any concerns in line with safeguarding procedures.

About You

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, autism, learning difficulties, or complex needs.
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Education, Health & Social Care, Psychology, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
