Chalk Education is working with a supportive SEN provision in Runcorn offering alternative education for pupils who need a more personalised and nurturing environment.

We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Classroom Assistant to join the team as soon as possible.

The Role

• Support pupils with SEN, SEMH, and communication needs
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour support, and social skills
• Work closely with teachers to meet individual learning needs
• Long term temporary supply role
• Full time, Monday to Friday, 830am-3.30pm, term time only

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children (UK school, UK SEN, or UK alternative provision preferred)
• Valid DBS or willingness to apply
• Patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and confident working with diverse needs
