Chalk Education is recruiting a dedicated Classroom Assistant to support pupils across KS1–KS4 in a specialist SEN provision in Ellesmere Port. This role is ideal for someone experienced in supporting SEMH students and confident managing challenging behaviour, particularly across KS2 and KS3.

Role Details

• Long‑term temporary position
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
• Term-time only
• Daily pay from £95

Key Responsibilities

• Support SEMH pupils within an SEN environment
• Provide 1:1 and small‑group support
• Assist teachers with behaviour management and lesson delivery
• Help maintain a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

• UK experience working with SEMH pupils
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
