halk Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Physical Disabilities (PD), Personal Care (PC) needs, and Complex Needs at a specialist setting in Alderley Edge.

This is a long-term temporary position, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional support to access education.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with complex needs and physical disabilities in the classroom
• Assisting with personal care (PC) where required
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEN team to deliver tailored support
• Encouraging independence, engagement, and social development
• Helping create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Experience working with SEN, complex needs, or physical disabilities (preferred)
• Comfortable supporting with personal care
• A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
