Description
Chalk Education is recruiting an experienced and passionate Primary SEMH Teacher to work in Stoke-on-Trent on a long-term temporary basis.
This role is ideal for a resilient and dedicated teacher who is confident working with pupils who present social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour.
The Role:
- Teaching within the primary sector
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
- Managing and responding positively to challenging behaviour
- Planning and delivering engaging, structured lessons
- Working collaboratively with support staff and specialists
Requirements:
- QTS, PTTLS or QTTLS (essential)
- Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Commitment to making a positive impact on pupils’ development
