Chalk Education is looking for a confident and resilient tutor to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a secondary-aged student in Stoke. The role runs Monday to Friday, 10:00–15:00.

We’re seeking someone with calm authority and a steady presence — able to set boundaries, encourage positive choices, and keep learning focused and engaging. You’ll need to be adaptable, proactive, and skilled at building trust with young people, particularly those with SEMH needs.

If you’re motivated by helping learners overcome barriers and you’re ready to make a genuine difference, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll need:

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• Relevant teaching or tutoring qualification (QTS, PTTLS, QTTLS, etc.)
• Experience supporting students with SEMH and/or in alternative provision (preferred)
• A creative, supportive approach with a passion for thinking outside the box
