Job Description:

Chalk Education is looking for support workers who are able to support primary age pupils from 4-11 within a school that caters to children who attend a special needs education provision. The hours for working within the school are 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday.

To apply for this role, you must be available on a full time basis.

This role is ideal for individuals who come from a care, residential support background or those that have come directly from an educational establishment. Graduates who are seeking a role to help fulfil their work experience would also be considered as long as they can do full time.

Additional requirements:

  • Experience working with autism
  • Care work background is desirable
  • Committed to supporting children
  • Experience raising attainment of pupils
  • References confirming suitability for role
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
