As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll support inspiring young people aged 4-19 with a range of additional needs, including Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, Sensory Impairments, Physical Disabilities, Complex Medical Needs, and challenging behaviours. Whether you're celebrating a student's first breakthrough, helping them gain confidence, or supporting them to achieve a goal they never thought possible, you'll play a crucial role in their success story.
Working alongside a dedicated class teacher and experienced support staff, you'll help create engaging, tailored learning experiences that empower every student to thrive. From providing one-to-one support and leading small group activities to promoting independence and encouraging personal growth, you'll be at the heart of a supportive and nurturing learning environment. Your positivity, patience, and enthusiasm will inspire students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
We're looking for someone with previous SEND experience, whether gained professionally or personally, and a valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one). If you're passionate about making a difference and helping young people succeed, we'd love to hear from you!
