As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll be at the heart of helping pupils grow in confidence, achieve their goals, and enjoy a positive learning experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting engaging lessons, working with individual pupils and small groups, and providing encouragement to help children overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Working closely with teachers, you'll contribute to a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to succeed, including those with mild Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

We're looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated individuals who have experience working with children and either hold an enhanced DBS certificate or are willing to obtain one, with support from Chalk Education if required. While experience supporting pupils with SEND would be an advantage, it's not essential. We welcome candidates with transferable skills from a variety of backgrounds, including tutoring, sports coaching, childcare, youth work, care settings, and parenting. Most importantly, we're looking for people who are passionate about making a difference and helping young learners thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
