SEND Teaching Assistant – Full Time, Long Term – Liverpool (L12)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?
We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Liverpool (L12). This is a full-time, long-term position, offering the opportunity to work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

About the Role:

• Full-time, long-term position
• Supporting secondary-aged students with SEND, including complex learning needs
• Providing tailored support in both classroom and 1:1 settings
• Assisting with personal care, feeding, and changing where required
• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with teachers and the wider support team

About You:

• Previous experience supporting young people with SEND is highly desirable
• Comfortable with all aspects of personal care and physical support
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient in challenging situations
• Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) a valid DBS check
