SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Woolton, Liverpool

Chalk Education is seeking passionate and dedicated full-time SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities. In this role, you will work across all age groups, supporting children aged 3-16 to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with a range of learning, communication, and social needs across different age groups
• Assisting with planning and delivering engaging learning activities tailored to individual needs
• Providing one-to-one and small group support
• Supporting behaviour management strategies and fostering a positive learning environment
• Helping pupils develop independence, confidence, and social skills

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEND (formal qualifications desirable but not essential)
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work across different age groups (ages 3–16)
