Chalk Education are proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Southport that caters specifically for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide full-time, 1:1 support to a young person within the school setting.

The Role

• Supporting a student with ASD on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day.
• Promoting independence, positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Working closely with teaching staff and the SEN team to deliver personalised learning strategies.
• Assisting with classroom activities, social interaction and daily routines.

About You

• Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly ASD.
• A patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
