Teaching Assistants – SEND Schools | South Liverpool
Chalk Education is urgently seeking compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils in specialist SEND schools across South Liverpool.

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a teacher to support pupils with complex special educational needs. This may involve 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 support within the classroom, helping to deliver personalised learning and behaviour strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and educational development.
- Assisting in the delivery of individualised learning plans.
- Building positive, supportive relationships with pupils.
- Contributing to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young adults with SEND, including ASD, SEMH, or other additional needs.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- A team player who can also work independently.
- Willingness to learn and participate in CPD.
