Chalk Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate SENCO to join a specialist SEN provision in Knutsford. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people with special educational needs and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

Role Overview:

• Position: SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)
• Location: Knutsford, Cheshire
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm (Term Time Only)
• Timetable: 1 day teaching, 4 days SENCO duties.
• Type: Temporary to Permanent (for the right candidate)
• Daily Rate: £180 – £230 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a recognised SENCO qualification (preferred)
• Have strong experience as a SENCO, ideally within a specialist or alternative provision
• Be confident working with secondary-aged students
• Have a solid background supporting learners with SEMH needs
• Be skilled in managing EHCPs, coordinating support plans, and working with multi-agency teams
• Be a strong communicator and a proactive leader with a passion for inclusive education
