Start: September 2025 | Ongoing until the end of the academic year
Pay: £95–£110 per day (PAYE)

We are working with a welcoming one-form entry primary school in N16 who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role continuing until the end of the academic year.

The Role

You will be supporting a Year 6 pupil on a 1:1 basis while also assisting across the class. The timetable is varied and engaging, giving you the chance to make a real impact on pupils’ progress and development. Your week will include:

  • 1:1 Year 6 support during core lessons and assemblies
  • Delivering targeted interventions such as Fresh Start and Writing Groups
  • Supporting Year 6 class learning in both morning and afternoon sessions
  • Leading small group and 1:1 OT intervention sessions
  • Assisting with extra-curricular activities, including Computing Club, Art Club, and other after-school clubs
  • Taking part in break duty, lunch duty, and wider school responsibilities

About You

  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN needs, particularly in Key Stage 2
  • Confident in running small group or 1:1 interventions (literacy and OT support beneficial)
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to engage pupils positively
  • A genuine passion for helping children thrive both academically and socially
