Chalk Education is currently seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teacher to support students with challenging behaviours in Knutsford. This is a long-term temporary position, ideal for a passionate professional dedicated to making a positive impact on young people with special educational needs.

Role Overview:

• Position: SEN Teacher
• Location: Knutsford
• Pay Rate: £160 to £200 per day (depending on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
• Contract Type: Long-term temporary
• Working Pattern: Term time only

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging, structured lessons tailored to meet SEMH needs
• Managing and responding positively and consistently to challenging behaviour
• Building strong, supportive relationships to encourage engagement and progress
• Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders to support pupil outcomes

Requirements:

• QTS, PTLLS OR QTLS
• Proven experience working with SEMH and challenging behaviours
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• A genuine commitment to supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development
