A dynamic Secondary School in Bow, E3, is looking for passionate and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join them on a full-time basis, starting immediately.

About the Role You will work closely with students who have diverse needs, including:

  • English as an Additional Language (EAL)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Working under the guidance of the SENCo and senior staff, you’ll:

  • Plan, assess, and support EAL provision across the school to ensure all students can access the STEM curriculum.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to address individual needs and learning gaps.
  • Assist in developing strategies and interventions that boost language acquisition and communication skills.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience supporting secondary-aged pupils (11–16) is essential.
  • Strong Behaviour Management: Proven strategies for promoting a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Passion & Dedication: A genuine commitment to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
