Position: Care Worker
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

 

Chalk Education are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join a school based in Liverpool. In this role, you will provide essential support to students with PMLD, ensuring their well-being and facilitating their participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including changing, feeding, and supporting daily living activities.
  • Assist students in developing their communication and social skills.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to implement individualised care plans.
  • Support students in accessing educational activities and opportunities.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students.

 

Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

 

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Experience in a care role, ideally with children or young people with PMLD.
  • Comfortable and skilled in providing personal care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanour.
  • A relevant qualification in care or education is preferred, but not essential.
