We are currently seeking an experienced SEMH English Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic school in Runcorn. The role involves working with pupils who require additional support to engage with learning and develop positive behaviours, resilience, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Support pupils with SEMH needs to achieve both academic and personal goals.
• Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes.
• Manage challenging behaviour using positive and therapeutic approaches.

Requirements:

• QTS, PTLLS, QTLLS
• Previous experience working with SEMH or within an SEN setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach.
• Ability to inspire and motivate pupils with diverse needs.
