Chalk Education is working alongside a fantastic secondary school based in Tameside. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic secondary teaching assistants to join their developing team.

The ideal candidate will support teachers in delivering high quality education, helping to create a positive classroom atmosphere, and assisting students in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students with their learning activities, both individually and in groups.
• Help maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Support students with special educational needs as required.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Foster strong relationships with students to promote engagement and motivation.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the secondary curriculum and educational practices is a plus.
• Experience working with young people
• An interest in working in education
