Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated BiologyTeacher to work in a Secondary Academy in the Salford area.  The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, covering Biology.

 This is a full-time, temporary position starting in September 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Biology lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the science curriculum.

  • Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and school events.

  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment that promotes student well-being.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Holds a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Has experience teaching Biology at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

  • Demonstrates a passion for science education and a commitment to student success.

  • Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Is enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the school

  • References confirming suitability for role
  • Commitment to Safeguarding
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
