Psychology Graduate – Teaching Assistant

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to put your skills into practice in a rewarding role? Chalk Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in schools across Liverpool.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain hands-on classroom experience, while using their transferable skills to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
The Role:
- Support pupils in their learning under the guidance of class teachers
- Provide 1:1 or small group support, including for children with additional needs
- Use your psychology background to help manage behaviour, build positive relationships, and promote emotional wellbeing
- Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
About You:
- A recent Psychology graduate (or final-year student) with a strong academic background
- Experience working with children or young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, youth work, volunteering, or childcare)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and development
