Chalk Education are currently seeking enthusiastic Psychology Graduates to join our dedicated team supporting SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) schools across South Liverpool.
This is an exciting opportunity for graduates who are passionate about child development, mental health, and inclusive education. The role is ideal for anyone considering a future career in educational psychology, teaching, or therapy, and offers hands-on experience within supportive and specialist settings.
What the role involves:
- Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), and complex learning needs
- Working closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Assisting with the implementation of personalised learning and behaviour plans
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to help pupils achieve their full potential
We are looking for:
- A Psychology graduate (or a related discipline) with a genuine interest in SEND and child development
- Someone with excellent communication, patience, and resilience
- A proactive and compassionate individual who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Previous experience in a school or care setting is desirable but not essential – full training and support will be provided
