A warm and inclusive primary SEN setting in Lowton is looking for a skilled professional to join their dedicated team, working with pupils with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs).
This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and confident teacher who thrives on helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Location: Lowton
- Position: SEN Teacher (Primary – ASD/SEMH)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Pay: £130 – £180 per day (depending on experience)
- Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
You’ll be teaching small groups of pupils in a supportive environment with excellent resources and a strong team ethos. The school offers a nurturing atmosphere and places high value on creative, child-centred learning and therapeutic approaches.
We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS – Essential
- At least 2 years’ experience, ideally within an SEN or inclusive education setting
- A calm, resilient and adaptive approach to teaching
- Strong understanding of strategies to support ASD and SEMH
- Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills
This role will suit someone who is patient, enthusiastic, and confident managing challenging behaviour in a positive, structured way. The pupils may have complex needs, so experience with communication aids, sensory strategies, or trauma-informed approaches would be a real plus.
If you're driven by the desire to support children with additional needs and make every day count, we want to hear from you.
