Chalk Education are currently looking for a Phase Leader to support a primary school in the Bolton area. As a Phase Leader, you will be responsible for leading a key phase of the school (EYFS, KS1, or KS2), ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and supporting staff development. You will play a pivotal role in driving school improvement and fostering a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the teaching and learning within your phase
• Support and mentor teachers to ensure high-quality classroom practice
• Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies for improvement
• Contribute to whole-school strategic planning and development
• Promote a positive, inclusive ethos across the phase
• Liaise effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience in primary education, ideally with leadership responsibilities
• Strong understanding of curriculum and assessment within your phase
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• A collaborative, solution-focused mindset
