September 2025 Start | Full-Time, Long-Term Role
£110 – £150 per day

Are you passionate about guiding young students through one of the most important transitions of their school journey? Do you have a nurturing approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to supporting student wellbeing and achievement?

We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral and Transitional Lead to join a vibrant secondary school in Palmers Green, Enfield, starting September 2025. This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact the lives of Year 7 students, ensuring they feel secure, supported, and ready to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the transition process for Year 7 students, ensuring a smooth entry into secondary education.
  • Provide pastoral support, guidance, and mentoring to students, addressing any emotional, social, or behavioural needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create supportive networks around students.
  • Monitor attendance, academic progress, and general wellbeing, implementing interventions as necessary.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in pastoral care, mentoring, or student support roles, ideally within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Possess a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and student welfare.
