We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning & Pastoral Coach to inspire and support students in their academic and personal development. In this vital role, you will foster a positive learning environment, provide tailored guidance, and promote holistic well-being. Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging coaching sessions focused on academic skills, personal growth, and social-emotional development
  • Build trusting relationships with students to understand their individual needs, strengths, and challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop personalized learning plans and pastoral support strategies
  • Facilitate workshops and activities that promote positive behavior, mental health awareness, and life skills
  • Monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and encouragement
  • Create a safe, inclusive environment where students feel valued, motivated, and empowered to succeed
  • Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions, student progress, and relevant interventions

Skills

  • Proven experience in teaching or mentoring roles with a focus on student development
  • Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with diverse learners and stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and foster trust with students from various backgrounds
  • Ability to plan, organize, and adapt coaching strategies based on individual needs
  • Knowledge of social-emotional learning principles and mental health awareness
  • Energetic approach with a positive attitude that motivates students to excel
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity
