Chalk Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and qualified Primary Tutor to support a Year 6 pupil on a 1:1 basis in Winsford. This is a part-time role, working Monday to Friday, 9am–12pm, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about personalised learning and helping children reach their full potential outside of a traditional classroom setting.

The position starts in September 2025 and involves delivering structured, focused sessions using work that is already prepared and set by the school. The successful candidate will be expected to provide consistent, nurturing support to help the pupil stay engaged, make progress, and prepare for their transition to secondary school.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Recent or relevant experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Confidence in delivering pre-set work and adapting to the pupil’s learning needs
• Excellent behaviour management and the ability to build rapport quickly
• A calm, patient, and supportive teaching style
• Must be reliable and available consistently during the agreed hours
