Level 3 Teaching Assistant – SEND School – Wavertree

Chalk Education are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming SEND school in Wavertree. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting children with a range of special educational needs.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils both in the classroom and during individual sessions. You will:

• Provide tailored support to students with visual impairments and other SEND.
• Work closely with the class teacher and specialist staff to adapt learning materials and resources.
• Foster an inclusive, engaging and safe learning environment.
• Build consistent, positive relationships with pupils to help them achieve their potential.
• Assist with personal care and mobility where required.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Qualified to Level 3 in a relevant childcare or education field.
• Experienced in supporting children with SEND, ideally including visual impairment.
• Patient, consistent and compassionate, with excellent communication skills.
• Reliable and committed to providing long-term support.
