Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Monday to Friday only

Chalk Education Recruitment is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience in year 1 or 2 classrooms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the curriculum but be open to working with young people who have special needs. Using planning from teachers, you will deliver sessions to groups of 5 young people around subjects like nature or animals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Support individual and small group learning, providing tailored assistance to students.
• Commitment to Safeguarding
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
• Collaborate with the teaching staff to create effective learning strategies.
• Support students with special educational needs as required.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working in key stage 1 setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
