Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: SEND School in Wavertree
Hours: 8:45am – 3:45pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: 19th May 2025

Chalk Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEND school in Wavertree. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone ready to make a meaningful impact in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning across the classroom.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver planned activities and maintain an engaging, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Take on additional responsibilities within the class, such as small group work and individual support.
• Commitment to safeguarding.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Promote positive behaviour and ensure the welfare of all pupils.

Requirements:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent in Child Care)
• Proven classroom-based experience
• A proactive and reliable attitude, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the class
• An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one via Chalk)
